Dallas Open Announces 2023 Player Field

Defending champion Reilly Opelka, Taylor Fritz, John Isner,

and Frances Tiafoe Commit to Second-Annual ATP Tournament

DALLAS (January 10, 2023) – The Dallas Open today announced the player field for this year’s tournament which will be held February 4 – 12, 2023 at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex at SMU.

Americans Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, and defending Dallas Open champion Reilly Opelka highlight the recent commitments. Fritz is currently ranked No. 9 in the world and is the top-ranked American on Tour. Tiafoe is ranked just a few spots behind him, now 17th in the world. Fritz and Tiafoe kicked off the 2023 season by winning the inaugural United Cup for the United States. Tiafoe is coming off a successful 2022 season that saw him reach the finals or semifinals in four tournaments, including a run to the U.S. Open semifinals in September. Also notable in this year’s field is former No. 1 American John Isner. The Dallas resident is currently ranked No. 42 in the world.

The 2023 Dallas Open will feature more than 60 world-class ATP Tour professionals and be televised worldwide to more than 100 countries. It will be the only ATP Tour indoor championship in the United States, and one of only 10 total stateside events.
